Image management & watermarks
All images uploaded to the platform must be a minimum of 1000 pixels in one dimension and 500 pixels in the other.
However, once uploaded, images are downsized by the platform to 500px or less, for display within your account or within public search.
In some cases, you may wish to add a watermark to your image. You may also wish for any image printed on Certificates NOT to have a watermark.
You can do this as follows:
- Click on Add New Artwork and then on the Certificate information tab (if not already selected)
- Upload the unwatermarked image, for printing on Certificates
- Enter the artist, title, category and artwork type
- Click on the Online Images tab
- Upload the watermarked image in the PRIMARY ONLINE IMAGE box (far left). You can also enter other images on this tab - see the article Image Slideshows
- Click SAVE
If you subsequently issue a Certificate, the unwatermarked image will now be used for the Certificate and the watermarked image will be used in public search (if made visible).
