Our mission

These values inform everything we do. In particular, we aim to provide products and services that are:
Permanent
Purely digital solutions, in our opinion, are simply sending smoke signals to the future. 'Bit rot' ultimately kills off all digital media. And the companies we know so well today - including Tagsmart - may not be around in 50 year's time, let alone 500. Our existing paper Certificates use print and security that does not rely on digital systems - and we work with national institutions and academic partners to develop very long term (500+ years) provenance records that are independent of our technology and corporate structure. That does NOT mean we're anti-digital - instead, it means we can offer you the best of both worlds. Our Digital Certificate counterparts can be filed on public blockchains (see
Digital & Blockchain Certification) and we supply provenance keys for NFT projects. We are also involved in the development of new smart contract systems and Layer 1 blockchain protocols.
Personal
We're a boutique service at heart. Every one of our members has their own way of working, of creating and of recording those creations. We help with proprietary cataloguing solutions for artists who want bespoke artwork management systems. And we take great care over the collector experience (registering their Certificates, giving them a free account, advising them on provenance etc) as that increases their goodwill towards the artists who use us.
