Sharing Artwork & Artwork Information

Tagsmart offers a simple public artwork and artist search feature. Links to this feature can be found in the footer of the Tagsmart.com website and also on the Certify log-in page. A typical artwork entry appears as follows:

Artists and artworks can be set to 'visible' or 'hidden' with regard to public search. See ' Managing public access to artwork information'

Artworks can be flagged as:

• Private: the work is not visible in any search results
• Public: the work is visible in search results for the artwork and is also accessible via search results for the artist
• Restricted: the work is visible in search results for the artwork but is not accessible via search results for the artist

If an artist or artwork is visible in public search, the URL for the result is effectively a public link to the information. You can copy the URL from your browser input line and share it on social media etc.

This URL is also pointed to via the QR code on a work's Certificate of Authenticity.

Note: if the publication status or a work changes, shared links will be redirected to an error page with an invitation to contact Tagsmart support.
