Answering an invitation

You'll receive an invitation to join your account when you first become a member of Tagsmart. You may also receive invitations from other members to join their accounts.

Invitation emails have the subject line  New Tagsmart Invitation.
NOTE: The invitation process ends by logging you into the new account. Tagsmart 2.0 was designed to work on a non-mobile device so we recommend opening the invitation email on your laptop, tablet or desktop. If on your mobile, once logged in, go to your mobile browser settings to select the option 'Request Desktop Site' or similar. We currently have a more mobile friendly version of the platform in test to improve this experience.
  • Click the ACCEPT button.
    • If you're a:
      • new user, you’ll be asked to create a new user profile
      • an existing user: you will be added to the account automatically and taken to the log-in screen
        • Note: if you're a member of more than one account, you can switch between them by clicking on your User Profile and selecting/searching for the account under My Organisations
If you don't wish to accept the invitation, you can ignore it. For good form, you might want to contact the person who sent it, or notify our Registrar at registrar@tagsmart.com
If you received an invitation following the transfer of an artwork, note that transfers may be in a pending state for 24 hours after completion. Some artwork features may be suspended during this time.

Expired invitations

Invitations expire after seven days, in which case you may need to request them to be resent.

Empty invitation links

Sometimes an invitation will appear to have an 'empty' link. Some email clients - notably Outlook - have a setting which disables links to protect against phishing. If you're using Outlook, check out: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/turn-on-or-off-links-in-email-messages-2d79b907-93b6-4774-82e6-1f0385cf20f8.

To resolve the issue, disable the feature in question (e.g. see the Outlook help message).
